The Languages and Cultures Department in the College of Humanities and Fine Arts is collecting application materials for a pool of lecturers with positions available as determined by need during the 2025-26 academic year. The department offers courses in multiple languages, area studies, and general education at the undergraduate level and in second language acquisition at the graduate level. See the department description and course catalog for specific courses offered. We are primarily seeking instructors to teach in person, but we are gradually expanding online offerings. Appointments from the lecturer pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term. 2025-26 Lecturer Pool Department of Languages and Cultures (job # 545949) has been posted to the career site and CSU Careers.
