Do you have a program or service that is advancing Latinx student success? Are there programs on your campus that you want to bring attention to? Do you believe that your work needs to be shared with others?
If so, you are encouraged to consider a submission to Examples of Excelencia!
Excelencia in Education has launched its annual Examples for Excelencia process and this is a prime opportunity for academic programs, support services or other campus initiatives to showcase how they are driving Latino student success. As part of Chico State's engagement with Excelencia's Presidents for Latino Student Success (P4LSS) network, any campus entity is eligible to make a direct submission (no nomination needed).
What are "Examples of Excelencia?"
Examples of Excelencia is the only national data-driven effort that recognizes programs at the associate, baccalaureate, graduate, and community-based organization levels with evidence of effectiveness in increasing Latino student success in higher education. Annually, Excelencia seeks out programs for Examples of Excelencia through a rigorous review of profile submissions that look at intentionality and evidence of effectiveness in serving Latino students.
