Get the Inside Information on how to get hired and secure a good job
Around two million students will be graduating this Spring. What will set you apart from the masses? What can you say or what kinds of questions can you ask that will get you noticed? Let's be clear, sending out 100 resumes or going to a few career fairs is a start, but is it enough? You spend thousands of dollars and many years earning a degree, come to this management club meeting and learn the secrets you will not read or hear anywhere else. Gamble an hour and learn how to score and get hired by a company you would like to work for rather than checking your email with your fingers crossed.
CSUC professor and MGMT Club advisor, Kelly Graves, will be giving a lecture/discussion this Wednesday, February 19th from 5 to 6pm Glenn Hall room 210. Who is Kelly and why should you care or listen to his advice? For over two decades Kelly has consulted with National and local organizations like KPMG, Caterpillar, Build.com and many others. He has given advice to many CEO's and presidents, sat in on many executive meetings, and been on quite a few hiring committees, so he knows what your future employers are looking for. What can you do to ensure that person is YOU? Come to this meeting and learn how to get that competitive advantage that will get you hired.
Who should attend? All students from freshman to seniors. All majors. You would be wise to get your name in front of employers as early as possible. Come get some tips before the upcoming job fairs.
Dinner will be provided.
