Your research deserves the spotlight—showcase your hard work at the 39th Annual Student Research Symposium!

Hosted by the Office of Graduate Studies, the Student Research Symposium is designed to promote and recognize student excellence in scholarly research and creative activities.

Undergraduate and graduate students from across campus can share their research in one of three engaging formats:

3-Minute Presentation: Students from across disciplines and research stages are encouraged to present their work in a 3-minute elevator-style presentation.
10-Minute Presentation: Students with advanced or completed work are encouraged to present their research or creative project in a more formal presentation. Ten Chico State winners will also be selected to compete at the CSU Statewide Competition.
Poster Session: Students at any academic level and from all areas of study are welcome to share their research with visually engaging posters.

The symposium is a fantastic opportunity for students to enhance their presentation and communication skills while sharing their work with a wider audience. Plus, participating in the symposium can add a valuable boost to resumes or applications for advanced degrees, serving as a standout example of career-advancing professional development.

All students are welcome to participate. The application deadline is Wednesday, February 19, 2025, by 11:59 p.m.
