The Department of English is searching for a temporary lecturer in linguistics for the 2025-26 academic year, with the possibility of appointment in subsequent years. The candidate must be able to teach courses in second language acquisition, English grammar, and general linguistics (e.g., syntax, morphology, sociolinguistics). We are especially interested in candidates committed to supporting the success of first-generation and underrepresented students. California State University, Chico seeks faculty who are competent in their field, collaborative with colleagues and staff, and committed to student success.
