Teach Abroad in Summer 2026 with the University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC)

Faculty from Chico State have the unique opportunity to support study abroad and internationalize our campus by teaching abroad with the University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC). Visiting Professors establish contacts with colleagues around the globe, enhance their language acquisition, strengthen and support international education on our campus, diversify course curriculum, and develop connections for research while abroad.

USAC is seeking faculty for Summer 2026 to fill thirty-three (33) Visiting Professors (VP) positions in select program sites abroad.

Deadline to apply is April 4th, 2025. Selected applicants will be notified by June 1, 2025. USAC is soliciting applications from faculty to teach specific, pre-determined courses in select locations, find more information about locations & courses here. SNAPSHOT DETAILS:
• 33 Visiting Professor (VP) openings available for Summer 2026
• Sites already selected (see above)
• Specific courses already selected and open call to propose courses for selected topics
• $6,000 stipend
• CISI health insurance included
• 5 student enrollment minimum
• Courses taught in English (unless otherwise noted)
