Tomorrow, April 26, Chico State's University Police Department and Office of Prevention Education and Outreach will join the DEA's National Prescription Drug Take Back Day by hosting a collection event on campus.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., community members can safely and anonymously dispose of unused or expired prescription medications at the roundabout on 2nd Street and Normal Avenue. Participation is free, and no questions will be asked.
National Take Back Day events help prevent prescription drug misuse and keep medications from contaminating our water and soil. It's a simple, proactive step toward protecting public health and safety.
