Join us for the 7th Annual Tipping Point Student Success Summit:
Beyond Graduation Initiative 2025
August 20, 2025. 1-4:30 pm followed by reception
The divisions of Academic and Student Affairs are pleased to announce the 7th annual Tipping Point Student Success Summit for faculty, staff, students and administration.
This year we focus on "Student Success Beyond Graduation Initiative 2025." In a time of great change, this is an opportunity to expand and refine our definitions of student success—beyond the metrics of graduation rates—by engaging in collaborative and cross-divisional dialogue and discovery.
In addition to featured presentations and interactive sessions, the half-day event will include a poster session from 3:20-4:00pm. Poster proposals are welcomed from CSU Chico faculty, staff, students, and administrators.
We encourage poster proposals in the following areas:
Student Success and Equity Research
Student Success Pedagogy
Responding to Changing Equity Contexts
Notes from the Field: Equity Initiatives That Work
Student Success in the AI Era
In addition, individuals and offices are invited to submit proposals for posters or other visual displays that reflect on student success in light of the new University Playbook priority to create "a welcoming and exciting university culture." These might include examples of efforts to build belonging, create opportunities for connection, and foster joyful community, through events and activities, spaces, or new traditions.
The proposal submission form can be found here. Complete the submission form by 5 PM on May 23. Acceptances emailed by May 29. Complimentary printing is available for posters received by June 30.
