Upward Bound Career Faire - Presenters Needed

Announced on: Monday, May 12, 2025

The Upward Bound Project at California State University, Chico cordially invites you to participate in our annual Career Fair on Friday, June 13, 2025. The event will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. in Colusa Hall on Chico State's campus.

Upward Bound is an academic and college preparation program funded by the U.S. Department of Education. We serve Northern California high school students from low-income backgrounds and our purpose is to develop the skills and motivation necessary for them to successfully complete high school and to enter and succeed in college. An integral part of the program is exposing our students to careers that require a college degree, and we need your help in doing that.

Our annual Career Fair allows our students to discover the multitude of career opportunities out there and to personally speak with professionals about their chosen fields. Your willingness to volunteer your time and share details of your education and profession with our students goes a long way in helping them prepare for their future!

Please refer to the following itinerary to plan your participation for this fair:

· 8:30 a.m. – 8:50 a.m. -- Sign-in and table set-up

· 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. -- Open fair format

If you are interested in volunteering, please email zbarrett@csuchico.edu and you will be sent a registration form.
