Hello campus community!
The Office of Admissions is now accepting applications for the Fall 2025 High School Scholars (HSS) program! The application deadline is August 19, 2025.
This dual enrollment opportunity allows 11th and 12th grade students from the 12-county North State region to enroll in up to two lower-division (100- and 200-level) courses—either in person or online—at Chico State while still in high school. The program offers a valuable head start on college coursework for a flat registration fee of $118, regardless of whether a student enrolls in one or two courses.
To extend our support, The B5: Bridges to Baccalaureate grant offers financial assistance to students who identify as Hispanic/Latinx and/or are low-income, by covering the $118 registration fee. For qualifying students, we also offer college-preparedness resources and periodic check-ins to ensure they are doing well in the program.
