Faculty from Chico State have the unique opportunity to support study abroad and internationalize our campus by teaching abroad with the University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC) as a Visiting Professor (VP).
USAC VPs establish contacts with colleagues around the globe, enhance their language acquisition, strengthen and support international education on our campus, diversify course curriculum, and develop connections for research while abroad.
USAC is seeking faculty for Summer 2026 to fill 4 Visiting Professor positions in select program sites abroad.
Deadline to apply is June 25th, 2025. Selected applicants will be notified immediately after the deadline.
USAC is soliciting applications from faculty to teach specific, pre-determined courses in select locations, listed below.
Please spread the word to faculty who would be able and interested to teach any of the following courses:
· Lyon, France – Summer Session 1 (June) - French Art and Architecture I: Classical to Beaux Art, (ART, 300-level, 3 credits, taught in English)
· Lyon, France – Summer Session 2 (July) - Francophone Women Writers (FREN/WMST, 400-level, 3 credits, taught in French)
· Torino, Italy – Summer Session 1 (June) - International Strategic Management (BUS/MGMT, 400-level, 3 credits taught in English)
· Verona, Italy – Summer Session 2 (July) - Digital Marketing (BUS/MKTG, 300-level, 3 credits, taught in English)
