Chico State Blood Drive - September 2 and 3

Blood Donors are needed for the first Chico State Blood Drive of the Academic Year.

The drive is taking place at Selvesters 100 on September 3 and 4.

Appointments are strongly recommended – you can make an appointment at donors.vitalant.org. At the link, search for the Chico State event by "Blood Drive Code" and use SMFL003. Or you can Call Vitalant at 530-893-5433 and use the same code.

Volunteers needed!

Volunteers are also needed to help staff the check-in and refreshments table. 1-hour volunteer slots are available at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, and 2pm. Volunteer sign up sheet.

Information for donors

• You will be asked to complete a Fast Track Health History the day of your donation at vitalant.org/health.
• Please bring a photo ID.
• Eat well and drink plenty of water before donating.
• Eligibility Guidelines have been changing, and it's a good idea to review them in advance to make sure you will be able to donate. Also, there can be CDC restrictions due to recent travel – if you have traveled outside the U.S. recently it's a good idea to call 800-289-4923 to find out if you are eligible to donate.
