This year's Book in Common, California Against the Sea: Visions for our Vanishing Coastline, explores the history and challenges of managing California's 1200-mile coastline, particularly in our era of climate change and sea level rise. If you would like to identify or plan events that support the book's ideas and message about how we can meet the challenges of climate change, please contact Kristen Mahlis at kmahlis@csuchico.edu to join the planning committee.
