National Hazing Prevention Week! Hazing Prevention Fair

Hello campus partners,

Fraternity and Sorority Life is excited to announce some upcoming National Hazing Prevention Week events. Per the NHPW website this NHPW will be from September 22nd through September 26th. We have a lot of scheduled events and would love your participation and help in promoting all events. However, we are aware that we all have busy schedules, so we would like to invite you all to participate in our Hazing Prevention Fair!

The fair is scheduled for Wednesday, September 24th from 10am - 12:30pm in the Gauntlet.

We will provide chairs and tables all you have to bring is your energy, resources, and information to provide to students. We would love to have as many departments represented.

The Hazing Prevention Fair is meant to be catered toward all students whether they are Greek-affiliated or not to come and learn more information about support services that are available for them on campus should they ever need support or if they know someone who would benefit from the services offered through your department. Of course, the main focus is to educate our students and community about how to identify hazing concerns, learn more about what is hazing, but also what support is available for students who may have been a victim of hazing. Although Hazing is not only FSL specific, we also want to acknowledge that our population of students has a higher at-risk population and as such, are taking the lead in hosting events throughout the week.
