Are you interested in spending a semester in either our state or nation's capitals??? Then consider applying to one of the CSU's DC or Sacramento Semester Programs for Spring 2026!!! It's not too late to apply to CSU Northridge's CSUN in DC program if you can get an application in ASAP! They want more applicants to go. Reach out to Professor Devin Fernandes (dfernandes@csuchico.edu) in the Department of Political Science and Criminal Justice for more info if you're curious. Our department has stipend money available if you are accepted into this program! Closer to home, Sac State also runs a GENEROUS spring semester program that includes support for housing! Take evening classes while building your networks and gaining professional experience in important capital cities! ---- Also, CSUN is hosting a special Zoom event on Tuesday, 9/23/25 at 5pm if you are at all interested in learning more about internships and how they can jumpstart your post-college career! Roger Lau, Executive Director of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), will be the guest speaker, sharing his own career journey that started as a college intern (in then-Sen.
