The Construction Management Department in the College of Engineering, Computer Science, & Construction Management at California State University, Chico is seeking applicants for a tenure track Assistant Professor to begin Fall 2026. In support of our applied learning focus, applicants should have a proven track record of construction management and want to share their industry experience with Chico State students looking to pursue a rewarding career. Prior project management experience must include duties to oversee and control a project's scope, time, cost, safety, quality and resources. Successful candidates should want to join a close group of faculty and staff who have demonstrated the ability to work with a diverse population and provide an inclusive learning environment. Applicants should understand the foundation of construction education, along with an understanding of new technologies and trends in construction, to successfully teach, perform scholarly activities and provide service to the department and community.
