The Chico State Blood Drive is Tuesday and Wednesday, October 14 & 15. Donors are needed! Your donation can help prevent delays in lifesaving medical care. Appointments are strongly recommended – you can make an appointment using the QR codes below, or by visiting donors.vitalant.org. At the link, search for the Chico State event by "Blood Drive Code" and use SMFL009. Walk-ins can be accomodated when there is availability. Volunteers are also needed to help staff the check-in and refreshments table. 1-hour volunteer slots are available both days at 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm. Volunteer sign up form. Information for donors You will be asked to complete a Fast Track Health History the day of your donation at vitalant.org/health. Please bring a photo ID. Eligibility Guidelines have been changing, and it's a good idea to review them in advance to make sure you will be able to donate. Also, there can be CDC restrictions due to recent travel – if you have traveled outside the U.S. recently it's a good idea to call 800-289-4923 to find out if you are eligible to donate.
