AS Moonlit Safety Stroll

Announced on: Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025

Join the Associated Students Government Affairs team for the Moonlit Safety Stroll on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Colusa Hall.

The Moonlit Safety Stroll is a collaborative effort between Associated Students, University Police Department (UPD), and Chico Police Department to identify and address safety issues on and around campus. This guided evening walk brings together students, staff, faculty, and community members to explore key campus areas and nearby streets, observing any lighting issues, environmental hazards, or other safety concerns that can be improved.

Participants will have the chance to share their observations directly with campus and city safety teams, helping shape actionable changes that make Chico State a safer and more welcoming place for everyone.

What to Expect:

  • A guided evening stroll through campus and surrounding community areas.
  • Opportunities to point out safety concerns and collaborate with UPD and Chico PD.
  • Free food while supplies last
  • A collaborative, solutions-focused event for students, staff, and community members.

Whether you've walked these paths hundreds of times or are new to campus, your perspective matters. By joining the Moonlit Safety Stroll, you'll play a hands-on role in identifying areas for improvement and advocating for a safer campus environment.
