The Chico Mosaic Project is a community art initiative designed to bring people together through creativity, collaboration, and pride in local sustainability efforts. Participants will each paint a 4x4-inch wood tile, contributing a small but meaningful piece to a larger crowd-created mosaic mural. The following three postcard-style mosaics will be created and placed in the following areas to create a connected art experience across the city that encourages using sustainable transportation: Greetings from Chico State All participants will be invited to a community art show and mural unveiling celebration, where the full mosaics will be revealed.
