Event Details: Friday, November 14th from 10am - 4pm (DROP-IN ANYTIME) at the Enloe Conference Center, 1528 Esplanade in Chico

Passages HICAP (Health Insurance Counseling & Advocacy Program) works to inform and support our aging adult community. The Medicare Annual Open Enrollment Period (AEP) for Part D Prescription Drug Plans and Part C Medicare Advantage Plans begins October 15 and will end December 7. HICAP aims to help Medicare beneficiaries make the best choice possible for their health care needs in the coming year.

What You Can Do During the Medicare AEP:

• Drop a Medicare Advantage Plan and return to Original Medicare (may be eligible to purchase a supplement plan as well)
• Switch from Original Medicare to a Medicare Advantage Plan
• Pick up a Part D Plan if you do not have one
• Elect to switch from one Part D Prescription Drug Plan to another
• Switch from one Medicare Advantage Plan to a different one
• Cancel your current Part D Plan (not advised unless you have alternative drug coverage)
