Join Us Monday, November 10, 2025 - no art experience needed The Chico Mosaic Project is a community art initiative designed to bring people together through creativity, collaboration, and pride in local sustainability efforts. Participants will each paint a 4x4-inch wood tile, contributing a small but meaningful piece to a larger crowd-created mosaic mural. The following three postcard-style mosaics will be created and placed in the following areas to create a connected art experience across the city that encourages using sustainable transportation: Greetings from Chico State All participants will be invited to a community art show and mural unveiling celebration, where the full mosaics will be revealed.

The finished mosaic will serve as public art where residents and visitors alike can bike, walk, or roll between them, celebrating Chico's creativity and commitment to sustainability.
