Learn more about New Quizzes in Canvas Canvas currently offers two quiz engines: Classic Quizzes and New Quizzes. New Quizzes is a more modern assessment tool that provides a wider variety of question types and a more consistent user experience. New Quizzes is great for extra credit as it allows to exclude a quiz score from the overall grade, and then faculty can add the points later.
