The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) is partnering with Hispanic in Energy on its California Energy Summit 2026 "California's Energy Future: Leadership, Innovation, and Emerging Opportunity," taking place on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at the Sutter Club at 1220 9th St. in Sacramento California. HACU members will receive a 50% discount rate off the registration fee by using the code "HACU2026." Chico State is a HACU member institution.
The California Energy Summit will convene policymakers, industry leaders, innovators, and community stakeholders to explore California's evolving energy landscape. The event will highlight advancements in oil and natural gas, nuclear, geothermal, and emerging technologies such as hydrogen, lithium, solar, wind, and hydro. Discussions address affordability, reliability, decarbonization, grid resilience, and data center/AI-driven demand, fostering collaboration and sustainable energy leadership.
