Perusall is an online social learning platform for annotating text, video, and audio content – motivating students to ask questions, share insights, and build a learning community. You can learn more about Perusall at their website. First Workshop - This session offers a guided introduction to Perusall, designed to help instructors get oriented quickly and confidently. We'll walk through the core functionality of the platform, highlight the new user interface, and show how Perusall connects seamlessly with Canvas. After this workshop, you'll have a clear sense of how Perusall fits into your course workflow and how to get up and running with ease. Second Workshop - This advanced session is geared toward instructors who are ready to go deeper with Perusall. We'll explore peer review assignments, advanced assignment settings and strategies for designing more intentional, engaging student interactions. The session will also touch on Perusall's approach to AI as well. How it's used within the platform and how instructors can thoughtfully design assignments in today's AI-aware learning environment.
