HACU 31st Annual National Capitol Forum

April 21-22, 2026

Washington, D.C.

Early-bird registration closes February 13, 2026.

Each spring, the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) hosts its annual National Capitol Forum on Higher Education. This two-day forum features policy briefings on Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) priorities, along with delegation visits to Capitol Hill where participants meet in person with congressional leaders to advocate for HSIs and the students they serve.

Whether you are a university president, faculty or staff member, student, policymaker, or an ally from the corporate or philanthropic sectors, your voice and participation are essential. Together, we can advocate for the resources and policies that Hispanic-Serving Institutions need to thrive.

Conference highlights Include:

  • Information sessions about grant opportunities
  • Impactful plenaries on investments in HSIs
  • Congressional Meetings
  • Student Track: The HSInnovators (new!)
