STORMWATER ANNOUNCEMENT

Announced on: Tuesday, Feb. 03, 2026

This is a friendly reminder that when stormwater flows, it carries everything with it - straight to Big Chico Creek. As stormwater moves across streets and land, it picks up harmful materials such as oil and grease from pavement, food wrappers and litter, and pet waste that hasn't been bagged and removed. Because of this, stormwater is the largest source of water pollution in urban waterways across the United States.

Let's all do our part to help keep our creek clean!
