Caregiver Cafe for Faculty and Staff WHEN: Friday, February 20th, 12PM-1PM WHERE: Hybrid session: meets in-person in SSC 150 AND Zoom -- email Carmy Miller at cmiller80@csuchico.edu for Zoom link prior to meeting date. The most valuable support a family caregiver can receive is from a peer - who has been through what they are going through and can truly understand what it is like to care for a loved one. Family caregiver support groups meet once a month and are facilitated by trained staff. Caregivers learn strategies and skills to solve problems; maintain their own personal, physical and emotional health; and provide the best care they can for those who are dependent upon them. Support Groups provide a supportive atmosphere to share experiences and ideas to ease the stress of caregiving. Passages Caregiver Resource Center provides support to family caregivers to ease the physical and emotional challenges of caregiving. https://www.passagescenter.org/caregivers/ *This is a recurring event that occurs monthly from 12PM-1PM.
