The California Section of the American Chemical Society and Chico State's Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry invite students, faculty, staff, and community to a special event exploring the science behind two beloved foods: coffee and chocolate.

This engaging presentation will feature guest speakers Howard and Sally Peters ("Mr. & Mrs. Chocolate"), award-winning chocolate educators, and Timothy Styczynski, coffee roaster, founder of Bridge Coffee Co., UC Davis Coffee Center collaborator, and licensed Q-Grader. Speakers will discuss the history, processing, and chemistry of chocolate and coffee.
Tasting opportunities, dessert, and refreshments will be available.
