Do you know a student, faculty/staff member, advisor, or student organization that has made outstanding contributions to advancing achievement, equity, and community for the Black/African American community on campus?

We invite you to submit a nomination to help us recognize and celebrate those who uplift, advocate for, and amplify Black and BIPOC voices.

Honorees will be recognized at our
4th Annual Black/African American Unity Brunch
Thursday, February 27, 2025
12:00 – 1:30 PM

Nomination Categories & Criteria
Student Nominee

• Demonstrates leadership within their community
• Actively involved in student organizations, extracurriculars, or community service
• Committed to advancing and amplifying Black and BIPOC voices
• Must be at least a sophomore/second-year student
• Faculty/Staff/Advisor Nominee
• Actively committed to advancing and amplifying Black and BIPOC voices
• Demonstrates commitment through activism, mentorship, programming, or community service
• Student Organization Nominee
• Creates space for Black students to grow, connect, and build community
• Demonstrates inclusivity and diversity
• Actively amplifies Black voices
• Must be a recognized student organization on campus
