CGT: Somebody Should Do Something: How Anyone Can Help Create Social Change (2/18)

Announced on: Friday, Feb. 13, 2026

Many of the most pressing challenges we face, such as climate change, racism, and poverty, are structural in nature. They emerge from collective systems, including laws, economic structures, institutional norms, and cultural practices. Yet structural change ultimately depends on individual decision-making.

In this CSU's Got Talent webcast, co-author Alex Madva explores how administrators, faculty, and staff can connect their professional roles and everyday choices to meaningful structural impact. Participants will examine why individual action matters and how to approach change in ways that move beyond symbolic gestures toward sustained institutional progress.
