The Valene Smith Museum of Anthropology will celebrate what would have been Valene's 100th birthday TODAY. She was born on Valentines Day 1926. Valene Smith was an anthropologist with an adventurous heart that led her on travels around the globe for many decades of research and exploration. She always made time for museums - so what better way to celebrate her legacy than to visit the museum named after her. We will have cookies and Valentine treats while supplies last. Come check out our current exhibit - What's Your Mood?
We will be open 11-3.
