As part of Alternative Transportation Week, Parking Services is offering a Smart Cycling class and group ride this Saturday. The class will take place from 10:00am -1:00pm in the Hazel Lot (corner of W. 2nd Street & Hazel Street) with a group ride through Lower Bidwell Park. Please bring your bicycle, closed toe shoes, lock, helmet and any safe riding gear you have. League of American Bicyclist Certified Instructors will teach you how to inspect your bicycle before starting a ride, start/stop/signal, avoid hazards, and how to navigate traffic.
