BUILD SKILLS. HELP OTHERS. EARN MONEY.
College Corps is a way to gain hands-on experience, make a difference in your
community, and earn money. The College Corps program at Chico State is now
accepting applications for the Fall 2026 – Spring 2027 academic year! Fellows commit
to 450 hours of service during the academic year (about 15-20 hours/week) and receive
up to $10,000 in the form of a monthly living stipend and an education award upon
successful completion of your service year.
WHAT SERVICE LOOKS LIKE
Opportunities vary but generally include:
• K-12 education: tutoring and mentoring students, supporting afterschool
programs.
• Environment: removing invasive species, planting trees and native plants,
composting organic waste.
• Food security: supporting community gardens and food banks, connecting
families with services.
