The Asian Pacific American Public Affairs (APAPA) Butte County Chapter, with support from the Asian and Pacific Islander Council (APIC), is excited to invite middle and high school students to participate in the 2026 Youth Leadership Academy (YLA).
APAPA is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization founded in 2001 that is dedicated to developing the next generation of leaders through impactful leadership programs and community engagement. One of APAPA Butte County's signature programs is the Youth Leadership Academy, which is planned and led by local high school student leaders.
This year, student organizers have assembled an outstanding group of professionals, community leaders, and mentors to share their experiences and insights with participating students. Through presentations, discussions, and interactive activities, students will have the opportunity to develop leadership skills, explore future career pathways, and connect with peers who share similar interests and aspirations.
