Gateway Science Museum's new exhibit, Dinosaurs: Fossils Exposed, invites visitors to explore their favorite prehistoric creatures and discover the ocean-covered landscape that shaped Chico. On display until January 2, 2027, the nationwide traveling exhibit brings prehistoric giants to life through touchable skeletal replicas of Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus rex, and Velociraptor, as well as skulls, limbs, eggs, footprints, and even a six-foot-one Apatosaurus femur. Young visitors can also dig for dinosaur remains in sand-filled excavation boxes.
