In case you haven't already heard, the Book in Common for 2026-27 is The AI Con: How to Fight Big Tech's Hype and Create the Future We Want. Events to discuss the themes of this year's book will happen in both the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters. To be part of the selection of the book for the 2027-28 academic year, submit your suggestion(s) for a book that you think would be a good common read for Chico State and Butte College students, faculty, and staff, as well as the larger Chico and North State public.
