FitU Health Coaching - Still Accepting Clients

Announced on: Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026

Want support with eating well, being more active, or feeling better in your everyday life?

FitU is here to help you find what works for YOU.

FitU is an 8–10 week Chico State program that pairs you with trained peer mentors who provide personalized support with nutrition and physical activity. There are no prescribed diets, rigid exercise plans, or one-size-fits-all goals. Instead, your mentors will help you explore what matters to you and develop realistic strategies that fit your life.

What do you get with FitU?

  • Your own nutrition mentor
Meet one-on-one for 4 sessions to talk about your eating habits, challenges, goals, and relationship with food. FitU takes a non-diet approach focused on helping you build sustainable healthy eating habits—without restrictive diets or food rules.
  • Your own physical activity mentor
Meet one-on-one for 4 sessions to explore ways to make movement work for you. Whether you want to become more active, develop a routine, get back into something you used to enjoy, or simply figure out where to start, your mentor will help you set realistic goals that fit your schedule and interests.
  • Support—not lectures
You won't be handed a list of things you "should" be doing. FitU mentors are trained to listen, help you explore what's important to you, and support you in making changes you choose.
  • Flexible, individualized appointments
You'll have 8 one-on-one sessions—4 nutrition and 4 physical activity— that alternate weekly over approximately 8–10 weeks.

What does it cost?

  • $50 to enroll—and you can earn $25 back!
  • Pay $50 when you enroll. Successfully complete the program, and you'll receive $25 back, making your final cost just $25 for all 8 individual sessions.
