Canvas is not just a platform for teaching — it is also a powerful tool for gathering meaningful assessment data. By connecting Outcomes, Rubrics, and Assignments, Chico State faculty can efficiently capture evidence of student learning directly from course activities. This integrated approach supports reflection, continuous improvement, and our shared commitment to student success.

Our campus is in the very early stages of using Canvas Outcomes in our program assessment processes (left side of the image above). We are working collaboratively with the ultimate goal of integrating Canvas Outcomes in our program quality assurance efforts.
