Nicole Clift is a proud alumna of CSU Chico, where she earned her degree in Parks and Recreation with an emphasis in special populations through Therapeutic Recreation. She currently serves as an Accessibility Advisor at Chico State’s Accessibility Resource Center (ARC).
In this role, Nicole meets with students seeking academic accommodations, reviews medical documentation, conducts interactive intake meetings, determines eligibility, and facilitates appropriate and reasonable accommodations. She also collaborates with University Housing to ensure students with disability-related needs are offered reasonable accommodations.
Beyond direct student support, Nicole oversees the ARC Coaching Program, managing a team of student employees who serve as peer mentors for ARC-registered students. She finds great fulfillment in mentoring these students as they prepare for careers in helping professions. Additionally, Nicole serves as the ARC liaison for the College of Agriculture and the College of Natural Sciences, fostering strong partnerships to support students within these disciplines.
Outside of work, Nicole enjoys paddle boarding, horseback riding, gardening, and exploring new places with loved ones.
