Valerie Wolfe was born and raised in Sonoma County before moving to Chico in 1994 to attend Chico State, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation and Special Populations and a Master of Public Administration.
Valerie joined Chico State's Accessibility Resource Center (ARC) in 2021 as an Accessibility Advisor. In this role, she meets with students seeking academic accommodations, reviews medical documentation, conducts interactive intake meetings, determines eligibility, and facilitates reasonable accommodations to support student success. Additionally, Valerie serves as a liaison to the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences, PATH Scholars, and Project Rebound students. She also manages accessible furniture coordination to ensure students have the appropriate accommodations in their learning environments.
Outside of work, Valerie enjoys Jazzercise, road trips with her family, gardening, and keeping up with her two daughters.
