The Art & Art History Department hosts multiple events each semester that are specifically for community members to be exposed to new forms of art, and we want you to know more about them.

Figure Drawing Nights in Ayres | TBA | Teens and Adults | This is your opportunity to practice your figure drawing skills. Participants must bring their own supplies, and a model will be provided. There is an Attendance Fee: Community Members: $5 Students: $2 |
Kids at the Turner | TBA | Students aged between 1st - 12th graders. | Kids have the opportunity to experience, explore, and create masterpieces. Students will also view and discuss the current exhibition in the museum. Free for kids interested in art |
DADA's Kids Saturday Art Workshops | TBA | Kids ages 5-12 | Each workshop is unique and covers different topics. |
Chico Schoolhouse Art Summer Courses | TBA | Kid, Teen, & Adult | Students get to learn art techniques from CSU, Chico BFA and Art Education students. We hold courses on Printmaking, Drawing & Painting, and Fiber Arts. |
BSO Gallery | Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm | All ages | Gallery space with showings on a weekly basis. Follow our Facebook page to see the Events section about what's happening each week. |
