How can I determine if I meet the low income requirement?
In order to qualify for this program, your Student Aid Index (SAI) must be -1500. You can locate your SAI in your Student Center under the "Financials" tab. Select "Financial Aid Summary."
I am a distance learner. Can I participate in this program 100% virtually?
Distance learners are welcome to apply. If admitted, your program will be modified for a 100% virtual experience.
I am a transfer student in my second semester or second year. Do I qualify?
Only new transfer students beginning their very first semester at Chico State qualify for this program at this time.
I am a graduate student. Do I qualify?
Only undergraduate students qualify for this program at this time.
What is the definition of "second year" student?
Second year students are sophomores. Only students going into the first semester of their sophomore year qualify for this program at this time.
Do international students qualify for this program?
This program is only open to domestic students at this time.
