Focusing on monuments to Confederate soldiers (nationwide), Junípero Serra (Los Angeles and San Francisco), and Mayor Frank Bogert (Palm Springs), this panel will explore the contexts that led to the creation of the monuments, the reasons why the monuments have been removed, and where we go from here.
