There are no COVID-19 restrictions and masks are not required at this time. If policies change, an email will be sent to all ticket holders.

  • Purchasing Tickets | Purchasing Tickets From a Secondary Market

    Tickets may be purchased online tickets. Tickets are available online until sold out or three hours before the start of a performance.

    In-person

    Tickets may be purchased in person at the University Box Office on the corner of Third and Chestnut Streets, Chico CA. inside Sierra Hall (Map).

    Purchasing Tickets from a Secondary Ticket Market 

    When purchasing tickets from the University Box Office, you are purchasing tickets directly from Chico State's official ticketing outlet for Chico Performances, North State Symphony, Wildcat Athletics, and the School of the Arts. We ensure that you are receiving a valid ticket and that you are not getting overcharged.

    There are secondary ticket brokers and scalper websites that take advantage of and overcharge tickets. Always pay attention to the site you are using. If you have any questions, please call us before purchasing. 

    If you purchase a ticket through one of these websites we are unable to assist you if you don't receive your tickets, if your tickets are invalid, or if the event is canceled. 

    Never use these sites to purchase tickets: Ticket Exchange, Stubhub, SeatGeek, Vivid Seats, Event Ticket Center, Cheaptickets, and Tickpick.

  • Will Call Tickets

    You may pick up your will-call tickets in advance at the University Box Office during business hours. Will-call tickets will be taken to the venue and become available one hour before the event. For North State Symphony concerts that have pre-talks, will-call tickets become available two hours before the event. Please have your confirmation number or photo identification when picking up your tickets.

    Patrons must present a valid photo ID and a purchase confirmation number.

  • Refunds or Exchanges

    Refunds

    Refunds are only issued in the case of a canceled show. 

    Ticket exchanges

    Ticket exchanges, for another event within the season, can be done at the University Box Office or by calling (530)898-6333, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    *Exchanges Fee: $4 per ticket (must be done 24 hours or more before the event.) 

    *Exchanges processed over the phone: $8 convenience charge will be applied. 

    *Exchanges will not be done on Saturday or Sunday.

    *Exchanges will not be done at events.

  • Online and Phone Convenience Charge

    An $8 convenience charge is applied to all phone and online orders. This fee goes towards box office software, hardware, credit card, and banking fees, and staffing the box office with friendly smiles. 

    Convenience charges are non-refundable.

  • Discounts (Group Rates / Chico State Student Discount / Chico Performances Member Donor)

    Group Rate

    University Box Office offers group rate discounts to selected events for groups of 10 or more. Group rates are not available with any other ticket discount.

    To order group tickets to a single event, please call the University Box Office at 530-898-4325.

    Chico State Student Discount

    Chico State Student Discounts are available for currently enrolled students at most events. Student tickets may be purchased in person, online, or over the phone. Students must present a physical Wildcat Student ID along with their ticket at the door. If a Wildcat ID is not present with the ticket at the event, the box office will upcharge the student ticket to a full-priced ticket.

    Chico Performances Member Donors

    Chico Performances Member Donors receive a discount based on the contribution level. To learn how to become a Chico Performances Member Donor go to https://www.chicoperformances.com/membership-and-subscription.php.

  • Accommodations

    CSU, Chico venues offer a wide selection of services, including special needs seating and assisted listening devices. For information regarding accessible seating or to purchase accessible seats, please call 530-898-6856. 

  • Parking

    For campus parking locations please refer to the University Campus Map-Parking.

    Parking permits are required Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Guests can pay for parking by downloading Passport Parking App for free from the iPhone App Store and Android Google Play. Mobile web services are also available by visiting Passport Parking(opens in new window). Please direct any questions to the University Police Department at 530-898-5555.

  • Late Seating

    For the safety of everyone, latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the House Manager & performers. Late guests may be accommodated in seats other than originally reserved. When it is safe, you may ask an usher for assistance in finding your purchased seat. 

  • Venue Information

    Laxson Auditorium: Box Office and Will-Call opens 60 minutes before the performance start time. Laxson Lobby and Concessions open 45 minutes before performances and serves beer, wine, soda, water, and cookies. Laxson seating will begins 30 minutes before performance start time.

    Arts Recital Hall: Box Office and Will-Call opens 60 minutes before the performance start time. Seating begins 30 minutes before the performance start time.

    Harlen Adams Theatre: Box Office and Will-Call opens 60 minutes before the performance start time. Seating begins 30 minutes before the performance start time.

    Wismer Theatre: Box Office and Will-Call opens 60 minutes before the performance start time. Seating begins 30 minutes before the performance start time.

    Rowland Taylor Recital Hall: Box Office and Will-Call opens 60 minutes before the performance start time. Seating begins 30 minutes before the performance start time.

    Acker Gymnasium, Nettleton Stadium, and Soccer Stadium: Box Office, Will-Call, and gates open 60 minutes before the start time.  

  • Do I need to print my ticket if I purchase it online?

    No. We can scan your ticket right from your phone.

    Please make sure to have your ticket up on your phone, brightness all the way up, and zoom into the QR code at the top of the ticket.

  • Lost My Tickets, What Are My Options?

    The University Box Office will reissue physical tickets to the purchaser only, ID required. For online orders, we will only resend e-tickets to the email on file. Contact the Ticket Office by phone at 530-898-6333 or email us at ubocustomersupport@csuchico.edu for assistance.

  • What Happens If An Event Is Canceled?

    If a performance is canceled, you will receive a refund from the University Box Office. Handling and convenience charges are non-refundable. Tickets purchased using a credit card or debit card will be refunded automatically back to the card used to purchase the tickets. checks, cash, account credit, or any form of the split tender will be refunded by check from the University. This process may take up to 5 weeks. Please direct all questions to ubocustomersupport@csuchico.edu

  • Does My Child Need A Ticket?

    If a child requires their own seat, they will need a ticket.

  • Lost & Found

    If you are seeking lost items, please call the University Box Office at 530-898-6333 for assistance. All high-profile items (wallet, purse, cell phone, keys, credit cards/debit cards, Jewelry, or Chico State ID’s) found at a performance, will be taken to the University Police Department after the event. The University Police Department is located on the corner of West 2nd and Chestnut Streets (Campus Map). All other items will be stored at the University Box Office and logged. Non Profile items not claimed after one month will be disposed of.

  • Are my seats next to each other in Laxson Auditorium?
