Frequently Asked Questions

  • Accessibility

    Accessibility Seating

Wheelchair accessible seating is provided for all shows and can be reserved through online booking, in-person visits, or phone orders. This seating ensures that patrons can enjoy the performance while remaining in the comfort of their own wheelchairs. Furthermore, we offer several transfer-accessible aisle seats for guests who use wheelchairs and prefer to sit in a standard theater seat.

If you require assistance in making these arrangements, please don't hesitate to reach out to the University Box Office at 530-898-6333 or email ubocustomersupport@csuchico.edu.

    ASL Interpretation

Requests for American Sign Language interpretation are welcome for any performance hosted. To ensure proper arrangements are made, please make these requests at least one month prior to the event. Please note that we may not be able to accommodate last-minute requests.

    Laxson Auditorium Assisted Listening Devices
Assisted listening devices for Laxson Auditorium events can be borrowed from the House Manager Window. To check out a device, please ensure you have your identification handy to provide as collateral. These assisted listening devices are compatible with most corded headphones, offering audio clarity for your convenience during Laxson Auditorium performances.
    Service Animals
Service animals are welcomed at all campus venues. Service animals are those that fall under the categories defined in titles II and III of the ADA and are individually trained to perform tasks directly related to a person's disability. It's important to note that animals whose primary role is to provide comfort or emotional support no longer meet the criteria for service animals as per the ADA. For additional information, please visit www.ada.gov.
