After graduating with her B.A. in International Relations, Georgia received a Master’s degree in Political Science from CSU, Chico, where she worked with Professors Wilking and Dwyre on her M.A. thesis. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Vanderbilt University. She is interested in how the electoral experience of women, and the consequences of descriptive representation, differ across level and type of elective office.  She is particularly interested in understanding the ways in which female executives have a systematically different experience, both as candidates and officeholders.
