José is an Advising Intern for the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences. He works primarily with first- and second-year Sociology and Anthropology students. Being a first-generation student, José recognizes the importance of seeking and creating an academic support system for individual well-being and academic success. One of José’s goals is to become a professor so he can continue learning and doing his own research. José enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and playing video games in his spare time.
