BCCER's 2023 Spring Turkey Hunt Dates

The CSU, Chico Ecological Reserves has set its Spring 2023 Turkey Hunt Program dates. The Big Chico Creek Ecological Reserve (BCCER) will be closed to all visitors (field trips, researchers, hikers, etc.) on these dates.

Spring 2023 Turkey Hunt Dates

Youth opener – March 18-19

General Opener – March 25-27

General Period 2 – March 31- April 1

General Period 3 – April 7-8

General Period 4 – April 14-15

General Period 5 - April 23-24

General Period 6 – April 28-29

Youth/Archery Period 1 – May 5-6

Youth/Archery Period 2 – May 12-13
