Study abroad this summer in the beautiful Italian city of Florence and receive 3 units. While living in the key city of the Renaissance and visiting related sites in Italy (Pisa, Lucca, Venice), you'll be introduced to the major historical events, figures, and cultural developments in the Renaissance and Scientific Revolution. The course is Humanities 300. Conservatives and Liberals in the Italian Renaissance and the Scientific Revolution in Italy. The instructor, Greg Cootsona, teaches in the Comparative Religion and Humanities department. Greg speaks conversational Italian, has visited Italy several times, and has led and enjoyed numerous international trips with college student groups.
