Come join us for a night of fun watching The Woman King in BMU 203 on February 21st at 5:00pm! There will be a free popcorn bar and soda floats! Based on a true story, The Woman King tells the story of the Agojie, the all-female warrior unit that protected the West African kingdom of Dahomey during the 17th to 19th centuries. The story follows Nanisca, a female general who trains the next generation of female warriors to fight their enemies. An empowering story of Black and women's history, this movie is worth the watch.
