"Women Like You" Leadership Symposium Happening March 3rd

The "Women Like You" Leadership Symposium is back for its third year! Join the womxn of our campus community on Friday, March 3rd, as they honor their personal stories of success and failure, sharing their journeys of empowerment and focusing on the resilience and rise of womxn in today's social climate.

This year, speakers include many of our own, including...

  1. Juanita Mottley, Associate Vice President for Student Support Programs

  2. Stefanie "Essie" Marchiano, LMFT, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist at the WellCat Counseling Center

  3. Autumn Alaniz-Wiggins, Associated Students Director of Social Justice and Equity

  4. Dr. Hadil Mustafa, Associate Professor – Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering (EECE)

  5. Michelle Borges, Student in the College of Agriculture and Former Associated Students Commissioner of Sustainability Affairs

The Symposium will also feature a panel discussion with Chico State's female University Cabinet leaders, including President Gayle Hutchinson, VP of Business and Finance Ann Sherman, Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer (CIO) Monique Sendze, and Chief of Staff Seema Sehrawat.

Join us for a day filled with engaging conversations hosted by the Associated Students as we celebrate women's resilience.

Drop by the BMU Auditorium at your convenience between 11 AM – 3 PM. No registration is required. Refreshments will be provided.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the event, seating will be limited but will regularly transition as people enter and exit the Symposium. All are encouraged to attend.
